i finally broke down and bought a PC, although i'm still posting here on
my webtv for now, and until i learn how to use the PC better, which
could take months, knowing me.
anyhow, i've been listening to tons of songs on youtube...many i hadn't
heard in literally 50 years, and some that are mentioned here in the
contests that i was unfamiliar with.
two songs (rather versions) i had never heard before were elvis'
version of "little egypt" which i thought was quite good, and much more
surprising (to me), the diamonds version of "why do fools fall in love"
which i thought was even better.
was the diamonds cover of WDFFIL recorded in 1955 and make at least the
prelim round? i don't remember seeing it? if not, i nominate it
posthumously.
