Tony Martin guests on Ed Sullivan's "Toast Of The Town" show

Fats Domino is back at Cosimo's Studios in New Orleans where he cuts
"Oh Whee" and "My Love For Her" neither of which will see issue until
1963 on the LP "Walking To New Orleans" . He also records "I Still
Love You" (supposedly an overdub of the Dave Bartolomew instrumental
track "Apple Honey") which will be used as the "B" side to his
forthcoming single "Wait And See"
AUGUST 3 1959
On the first day of a marathon four day session at the Capitol Tower
in Hollywood, Gene Vincent cuts a bunch of songs that will appear on
the forthcoming "Crazy Times" LP---recorded this day are "Pretty
Pearly", "She She Little Sheila" (that will also be a UK Capitol
single),"Accentuate the Positive" and "Darlene"
The Virtues play "Virtues Boogie Woogie" on "American Bandstand"
