not sure if it was really his last concert as was billed, but he was
bloated and was done in 1977 . i was amazed how good it sounded. he
sounded on-key, sober and soared where the song required it and used
falsetto to end it. has anyone seen this particular rendition?
better than roy hamilton and surely the righteous brothers, but not up
to al hibbler's version IMHO
