You might find the modes tutorial on my website helpful - it was
aimed mainly at people who play diatonic instruments.  I don't
play diatonic harmonica myself but have been playing along with
them for three or four hours a week for about 15 years, so I have
a fairly good idea what they can do.

I mainly focus on Scottish music, secondarily on other kinds of
Western European folk.  Blues (what most people use diatonic
harmonicas for) is a somewhat different game.  If you haven't
