The 7-tone scales created by iteration of 5th are exactly the diatonic 
scales. If further the octave 2 and perfect fifth 3/2 intervals are 
assumed, it is the Pythagorean tuning (for all practical purposes the 
same as 53-ET - try it out in say Scala to find out what it sounds 
like). Just intonation is not a true diatonic scale as the major second 
5/4 interval creates two major seconds of different sizes.
