Oh, well, we can assume that the final soprano note will be the Tonic. 
Working backwards, some types of voice-leading can help you figure out
what 
has to happen to get there (to avoid parallels, etc.) Also, it's likely
that 
the Soprano move with the Bass either in parallel 10ths, or in
counterpoint, 
so you can at least get some suggestions from that. But yes, you can't 
reconstruct it completely - at least with any certainty.
