Naturally transposition results in the same structure.  I'm defining 
transposition as also generating at least one new pitch-class.  So the o7 
has 3 transpositions (including the original) but the chromatic scale has 
only one as all 12 PCs are included.

Right.  All intervals except the tritone have unlimited transpositions 
(unlimited = 12).  Major & minor triads and scales (for example) also have

unlimited transpositions.  And the symmetrical formations have limited 
transpositions (fewer than 12) - an example being the octatonic
(diminished) 
scale which has only 3.
