Yes, something I like very much is that English speaking persons
say "pitch class".
Since octave/unisson is an equivalence relation****p.
C0 C1 C2 ... is an equivalence class that you call pitch class C
And the scale is the quotient set (hoping my translation from French
is what you call it in English)
