It also is a good way to train someone who didn't hear music as a kid.  I 
learned to compose using the Circle of Fifths.  It's got an ancient human 
ear history.  In fact, research shows it's a natural in many cultures. 
Nowadays with high tek societies, music and noise, well whose to know the 
difference any more.  Especially since people's hearing, I read, is
starting 
to dull.
