No, those examples seem to clear up your subject of the post, the
first is a -5 and the second is a #11.

They certainly could be and that would have some implication to the
musician and the #11 and b5. BUT try to remember that no matter what
you write, all the musicians (except MAYBE the ones that you have
discussed exactly what you mean and that is still a MAYBE) will still
play what they think will produce the best music at that particular
chorus on that particular gig at that particular venue with that
particular audience and other musicians in the group. Chord symbols of
both of these traditional notations only give you the notes. They will
be voiced differently by the musicians according to their instrument
as well. The pianist will have a different voicing than the Guitar or
the Banjo or the Vibraphone or Marimba or Harp of the voicing of an
arranger applying it to the big band.

If you need something played specific and there is no room for
interpretation, you need to write it out in either real notes or in
tablature. All of your solutions will give the notes. The musicians
will still make music the best they can.
