Lessons suitable for all ages, where the emphasis is on performance of
a variety of Jazz selections interspersed with discussions of creative
processes and applied techniques. Each session is targeted to your
playing abilitys. These lessons are are designed to:
Impart knowledge, understanding and an appreciation of Jazz and all
music.
Provide a base for further exploration of Jazz and blues.
Teach the foundation of improvisational technique by hearing, playing
and hearing jazz. Foster each student's creative abilities and
creating new improvisational ideas.
My lessons are weekly and bi-weekly and can encompass a variety of
activities aimed at intensive study. I teach, and love it.The sessions
are informal and relaxed, yet highly structured. If you are a novice
