I was not quite sure whether it was the enticement of the free lolly,
or the fact it was our most im****tant night of the year, but boy did we
get busy quick. The allocated Halloween treats were all gone by the 10
O'clock and what with the management telling us that we'd have to
open up basement 2 by 12 as were had overshot capacity, I just
couldn't believe it!
Kudos to all those that travelled the long distances, especially Ben &
Rachael staying overnight from Chippenham & postie Chris driving up
from Southampton (and then back again after the night had finished.)
Kinda puts anybody local to shame that didn't make the effort really!
This also means that Saturdays Samhain Coven was the most successful
night we've had since we moved to the new venue, so I think a pat on
the back is in order to everybody who made the effort to sup****t us,
and especially to those that dressed up for the occasion. Zombies
everywhere!
